Balakrishna to kick start poll campaign in Telangana

Hyderabad: Filmy glamour will be added to the ongoing intensified People’s Front poll campaign in the next five days in Telangana. Telugu film hero and TDP star campaigner N Balakrishna will lead the campaign in the selected poll bound assembly constituencies from Friday onwards.
Leaders said that the film hero turned political leader will visit Khammam, Ashwaropet and Sattupally assembly constituencies in old Khammam district and another five segments in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation
(GHMC) limits from where TDP candidates are in the fray. The TDP as a coalition partner of Congress is contesting in 13 assembly segments in the State. He will participate in road shows, rallies and public gatherings in the identified segments. Balakrishna will also join the poll campaign along with Congress leaders in some assembly segments where Seemandhra voters are considerably significant.
Balakrishna will hold a special campaign in Kukatpally constituency from where his departed elder brother N Harikrishna’s daughter Suhasini is fighting elections first time. Balakrishna already extended his support to Suhasini and participated in a rally in the segment recently. During the five-day campaign, Balakrishna will dedicate his whole time to the party activities in Telangana only, a senior leader said.
