Abids: Former Minister and Congress candidate for Gosha Mahal constituency Mukesh Goud visited several colonies in Jam Bagh division, as part of his election campaign on Monday. Speaking during his campaign, he said that even the BJP candidate Raja Singh got benefitted directly because of his efforts as BC welfare minister to bring Kshatriya community of Dhoolpet into backward castes category. As a result, Raja Singh managed to become corporator with the help of BC certificate, he said. Mukesh added that apart from development, he also looked after the welfare of downtrodden people in the constituency.

Criticising Raja Singh for neglecting the constituency, Mukesh demanded him to come out with a list of development works he had completed during his period as MLA. He questioned as to how he could build big buildings without engaging in corruption. He urged people to give him a fitting lesson for exploiting religion for his selfish interests.

The former minister said that TRS candidate Prem Singh Rathod had ignored a particular community when he was an MLA. Terming Prem Singh as non-local, Mukesh questioned as to why he selected Gosha Mahal as his constituency. He urged people to elect those candidates who can be accessible to people and address their issues. He appealed to the people of the constituency to use their wisdom to elect the right candidate.
