Musheerabad: While the son of one candidate takes the responsibility of campaigning on his shoulders as his father was hospitalised during the campaigning, the father of other candidate was seen putting all his efforts for the victory of his son. This situation was witnessed in Musheerabad constituency in the recent elections.

Muta Gopal, TRS candidate, was hospitalised at a crucial juncture just a week before elections. His son Muta Jaisimha took the burden of campaigning on behalf of his father and looked after all the aspects of polling. He managed to convince leaders of different communities to vote for his father but also managed financial and political aspects of poll campaigning effectively. He coordinated the party cadre and other senior leaders in the constituency and managed to run the campaigning smoothly. Responding to a media on his poll prospects, Muta Gopal said that he said he is 100 per cent confident of his victory, thanks to the efficient campaigning of his son.

On the other side, Anjan Kumar Yadav, former MP who defeated former union minister and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya, fielded his son Anil Kumar Yadav as Congress candidate. Anil Kumar is the state youth Congress president and worked as NSUI leader. Anjan Kumar Yadav has put all his efforts for the victory of his son. Star campaigners such as Chandrababu Naidu, cine stars Balakrishna, Nagma and Khushboo campaigned in support of Anil Kumar. Anjan Kumar was successful in coordinating not only all the People Front leaders but also senior Congress leaders during the campaigning to ensure the victory of his son. There is a keen triangular fight in the Musheerabad constituency among three major parties – TRS, Congress and BJP – and it is interesting to see who wins the seat on December 11.
