Bhadrachalam: Lord Rama appeared to devotees as Varahavatharam on Monday. As part of Mukkoti Vykunta Ekadasi celebrations are going here in the temple town Bhadrachalam on a grand note. During the 10-day festival Lord Rama is appearing in different Dasaavathrams to the devotees.
On the third day of celebrations Lord Rama appeared as Varahavathram. A large number devotees had darshan of Lord Rama who was decked up in colourful attire.
Earlier in the day, the priests decorated Lord Rama in Varahavathram and performed special pujas in the temple. Later, a procession of presiding deities was taken out to the Mithila stadium so that people could have darshan of devotees. Women devotees dressed in best clothes presented dances and sang songs during the procession. also conducted by the priests.
