Bhadrachalam(Kothagudem): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s grandson Himanshu came to the rescue of a lame man, after seeing the footage of a YouTube channel that elicited people’s voice in the run-up to Assembly elections.

Nukasani Srinivas Rao, who is physically challenged person have been living here in the temple town Bhadrachalam for more than 30 years. Earlier, when he was working as a building construction worker in the temple town, suddenly met with an accident in which his spinal cord was damaged. After that he had been wheelchair-bound. Sometime, he would use tricycle and roamed about the streets of the temple town.

It happened that during the Assembly elections, a YouTube channel conducted a survey in the temple town and asked everyone who would be the next Chief Minister of the State. The channel reporter met Nukasani Srinivas Rao at the Ambedkar Centre in Bhadrachalam.

They asked several questions to him to gauge the public mood. Srinivas Rao answered to every question and said vociferously that K Chandrasekhar Rao would be the next Chief Minister of the State.

The channel reporters informed him that KCR had announced that the government would give a pension of Rs 3, 116 to the disabled persons in the State when TRS formed the government again. If that amount was useful to the people like him? Srinivas Rao said, “I am not getting the pension yet but the pension of Rs 1,000 is enough for the living of the disabled people.” He said, “KCR is like a God for the disabled people and definitely he will come to the power and become the Chief Minister again.”

The channel reporters asked how the local MLA was doing? On that question Srinivas Rao answered, ”I do not believe in the local MLAs. Only we support KCR and pray to the God to give him the opportunity to become the CM for the second time.” He said these words strongly and passionately.

After that the interview was aired on the YouTube channel. When, Himanshu, the grandson of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, saw the news he enquired about him. Himanshu called to a family friend KV Dayakar living in the temple town and shared the video through Whatsapp and asked him to enquire about him.

Dayakar searched for him and found his address which is the Rajiv Nagar Colony, Bhadrachalam. He observed the disabled person Srinvas Rao suffering from illness in the house. This information was passed on to Himanshu and told him about his health condition.

Himanshu responded promptly and asked Dayakar to shift Srinivas immediately to the Government Area Hospital for the treatment. Srinivas was shifted to the hospital from the house to the Area Hospital in a special ambulance. The Doctors without delay started his treatment.

In the meantime, Himanshu phoned to the Srinivas’ family members and told them not to worry. “If required, I would shift Srinivas to Hyderabad for better treatment. We are supporting your family and give all help,” said Himanshu.

While speaking to the Hans India, Srinvas’ wife Amrutha and sons Sai Charan and Saibabu extended special thanks to KCR’s grandson for taking care of their father’s health. They also expressed pleasant surprise on how the boy responded. They blessed the boy.

KTR’s family friend KV Dayakar said, after they saw the YouTube channel, he tried to enquire about him. He saw that the boy was discussing the matter many times and asked him how to help that family every time.
