Audiometry test conducted for NTPC employees
As part of threeday Occupational Health Checkup, an Audiometry Test was conducted for the employees of National Thermal Power Corporation NTPC in Ramagundam on Friday
Ramagundam: As part of three-day Occupational Health Check-up, an Audiometry Test was conducted for the employees of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in Ramagundam on Friday.
Ravindra, the Enforcement Director of NTPC-Ramagundam, inaugurated the Health check-up organised under Hearing Solution of Hyderabad in association with safety department here at Dhanwanthari Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravindra said that the employees, who are working in high noise prone areas, must take necessary steps along with using of personal protective equipment to maintain their audio standards.
Keeping in view of the health of the employees working in NTPC, the organisation is conducting such health check-up camps regularly. There is need for employees, who are working under high noise prone areas for regular check-up for testing their audio standards.
Out of the identified 367 employees, around 105 employees attended the camp and went through audiometry testing on Friday. Chief Managing Officer Sashmita Dash, Assistant General Manager KNS Radha Moha, Manager of Safety Department AV Narasimha Reddy and the staff members were present along with the Audiologists from Hearing solutions, Hyderabad.
