Vikarabad: District Collector Syed Omer Jaleel appealed people to cast their vote and urged those not listed to enroll their names in the voter list. He was addressing the National Voters Day programme at Ambedkar Bhavan here on Friday. The Collector advised voters to exercise their franchise in free atmosphere.
He appealed eligible youth to register themselves as voters. Jaleel directed the officials concerned to conduct awareness programmes on voting. He said they arranged wheel chairs for differently abled persons at polling centers. JC Arunakumari, DRO Mothilal, DEO Renuka Devi, RDO Vishwanatham, Municipal Commissioner Satyanarayana Reddy, Tahsildar Chinnappala Naidu and officials from various departments were present.
launches voter call centre District Collector Syed Omer Jaleel said that voters can find their names in voter list by dialing 1950. He inaugurated the call centre at collectorate here on Friday. The Collector said that people can complain matters related to voter list and others by dialing 1950.
He said it would be fully operational from February first week. Syed appealed youth to avail the services.DRO Mothilal, DRDO Johnson, DPO Narayana Rao, DWO Jyosna and others were present.
