Basheerbagh: Sports events of Telangana NGOs’ women’s wing began at L B Stadium here on Wedneday. They are being organised to mark the International Women’s Day on march 7.
Telangana NGOs’ Association president Karam Ravinder Reddy flagged off the events. Addressing the participants, he observed that taking part in sports helps women to achieve mental relaxation after experiencing stress from their daily work and family responsibilities. Reddy thanked the State government for granting two days leave to the participants. Among those present were TNGOs’ Association State general secretary Rajender and women’s wing president Rachel.
