Hyderabad: YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s meeting with Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at his Ashram in Hyderabad assumed a political significance. Jagan, who returned from Delhi after participating in a programme organised by a media group, called on Jeeyar Swamy at his Ashramam on Saturday evening and spent more than 30 minutes.
They are learnt to have discussed the political developments taking place in the poll-bound Andhra Pradesh. The party senior leader and MP Vijaysai Reddy and former MP Mithun Reddy accompanied Jagan.Jagan is also said to have shared his views on national politics with Swamy.
He also sought his blessings. This was his second meeting with Chinna Jeeyar in the last one year. After winding up his padayatra in January, Jagan called on Sharada Peetham head Swarupanandendra Swamy and took his blessings. There was a talk that on the advice of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the YSRC chief was meeting seers to brighten his political career with their blessings.
