Toopran: A doctor by profession and rendering service on behalf of Lions Club, Dr Ravinder Goud is stepping into the field of politics. Being not affiliated to any political party, the doctor wants to contest in the Graduate MLC constituency. The Former Lions Club International, erstwhile Medak governor Dr Ravinder Goud set up Shankar- Nethralaya in 2000 and he has been rendering service to poor. Goud performed more than 30,000 eye operations at free of cost and donated spectacles to the needy.

Dr Ravinder has received best doctor award from government of Telangana for 2018 and received a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. He played a key role in Telangana movement as JAC convener for OU Doctors Association. Goud is contesting for the ensuing Graduate MLC elections for Medak, Karimnagar, Adilabad and Nizamabad.
