Telugu actor Rajasekhar's wife Jeevitha is in trouble over a bounced cheque. The Nampally court issued a non-bailable warrant against the actress on Monday. The NBW was issued as Jeevitha gave the court hearing a miss despite summons. The court has now asked the cops to produce the actress before the court on November 29.
According to reports, Jeevitha had borrowed Rs 34 lakhs from a friend Parandhama Reddy, a retired government employee. It is learnt that the actress gave him a promisory note and two cheques as surety for the amount. Jeevitha, however, failed to repay the debt on time. Parandhama deposited Jeevitha's cheques to the bank. Little did he know the cheques would bounce due to insufficient funds.
The lender tried to reach the actor couple. But when he did not get a response, he approached the court seeking justice.
The court then issued summons to Jeevitha to hear her side of the story. However, Jeevitha never appeared in court forcing the court to issue an NBW against her. Reports suggest that Jeevitha and Rajashekar are in deep financial debts. The couple is not doing well either in films or even political front.
