Sircilla: The TRS government has been introducing various welfare schemes in the State to fulfill its main aim of making the farmer a king. And it has been taking several steps accordingly, stated IT Minister K T Rama Rao.

KTR had participated in various developmental activities at Gambiraopet and Mustabad mandals in Rajanna Sircilla district on Monday.

The Minister had inaugurated newly constructed PACS building at Pothkal village and unfurled the statue of farmer and distributed Bathukamma sarees to the women at Mustabad mandal headquarters.

Later, the IT Minister observed the land reforming works that were in progress at Chippalapalli village and distributed Bathukamma sarees to the beneficiaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao said that the State government is striving hard for the welfare of all sections of people across the State. Especially for uplifting farming community, the government is introducing various welfare schemes, he informed.

Several activities that were taken up by the government such as 24-hour power supply, providing investments on subsidy, lands reforming works and construction of various projects for supplying irrigation water, are meant for all round development of farmers, he added.

Unlike the previous government, the TRS government is distributing Bathukamma sarees to all the women in the State irrespective of caste and religion for celebrating the State festival Bathukamma on a grand note, he pointed out.

TESCOB Chairman Konduri Ravinder, District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar and local people’s representatives were present along with others.
