Bhupalpally: The district administration has revoked the recent order placing the services of Mulug Ghanpur mandal parishad development officer MPDO P Sreedhara Swamy under suspension.

It might be noted that the MPDO was suspended on Tuesday for failing to attend the video-conference held during evening hours on that day on ODF works and for switching off his mobile phone. He was also accused of failing to achieve the ODF targets.

In an order issued by the District Collector, A Murali, here on Friday, it was said that the suspension order issued on Tuesday has been withdrawn following the MPDO’s submission of explanation on his absence at the video-conference and his undertaking to achieve ODF targets and attend the duties regularly.

It might be recalled that as many as 50 MPDOs have gone on mass leave on Thursday across the erstwhile Warangal district demanding revoking of Swamy’s suspension and protesting the Collectors’ reported abusive comments against the MPDOs during a recent video-conference.

The association leaders made representations to Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari, ZP Chairperson G Padma and CEO S Vijayagopal, asking them to intervene and see that the suspension order was revoked.
