Arrangements underway for Maha Shivaratri Jatara

Vemulawada: Elaborate arrangements are being made for the upcoming annual Maha Shivaratri jatara at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada. The three-day festival is scheduled to commence on February 12.

Vemulawada MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh Babu on Friday met Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad and discussed about the arrangements being made for the Maha Shivaratri grandeur that invariably attracts more than five lakh people.

Further, he invited the Minister to be present at the festivity. Indrakaran Reddy will attend the festivity and offer silk robes on behalf of the State government, temple executive officer Dusa Rajeshwar said.
