Little did she know what her child was going through, she battled with everyone to give her child the best out of her worst situations. Many a times she gave up on her dreams to get that huge smile on her kids face. A single mother can fight wars with millions to make things possible for her child.

It feels great when you listen to a mother who took care of her children all alone leaving aside all the negativity around her. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, we spoke to few such single mothers who live it up and make the most of their lives with their children:
Shireesha Jagga a single mother of a daughter and son says, “I get very little time to spend with my kids because being a single mother I have to do everything by myself.” Unlike other mother’s I do not get to spend ample amount of time with them. But still I make sure I spend quality time along with my kids by taking them for a movie and dinner. The bond that I share with my kids is really special after my husband passed away. I had only two people in my life that’s my two little ones. I love my kids and they mean a world to me whatever the situation is I make sure to give my hundred percent to them.”
Another single mother Shalini (named changed ) shares about how she manages to give her best to her kids, “As a single mother sometimes it is difficult to give time to my children. During day time the kids and I are occupied with the routine schedule, but at the end of the day I make sure that I speak to them and also encourage them with positive motivation. My children are the most special people in my life when it comes to spend quality time like going around along with them I make sure that I give my best within my boundaries. ”
Nirupama who is a single mother says that being a single mother is like playing the role of a father and a mother; “I have to make time for them in some or the other way. It has been difficult for me, but then I make sure that I balance along. I have two sons the elder one is pursuing engineering and the younger one is special; I have changed my profession from the IT industry to special education, all that I did is for my younger son and what I am today is because of him.
Most of the time I spend is with my younger one, I do not believe in quantity time because I need to mange my work and everything else, I just spend quality time along with my children.”
“A mother relates more to their children than a father, “I am always like a friend to my children and that is what makes this relationship special,” she adds.
