A workshop for all-round development

PHY Prakash Sixth Sense Learning Strategies, atraining company to train children in the age group of 9 to 19 is organising 'I am Gifted', an international program for kids this month to empower children and teens to achieve excellent grades and to develop the mindset, social and life skills to become highly successful in all areas of their life. The 'I am Gifted' program has been highly successful in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand & China, and has trained more than 330000 children in the last 10 years. Speaking on the Occasion Satish Govindan-MD Sixth Sense Learning Strategies-said "I Am Gifted" came to India two years back and has already trained more than 350 children. Academic skills, communication skills and relationship management are just some of the aspects that we work along with the child during this workshop. Initially we started with only children. But now we also train Parents' and Teachers' because we firmly believe that both Parents and Teachers play an extremely important role in the all-round development of the child. Dhishana Kidambi, a class XI student of Aghakhan Academy who attended this session two years back says "This workshop helped increase my confidence level. Now I know what I want to achieve in my life . No academic classes will help you understand yourself the way these people do. I had attended this program two years before. Now I am working as an Assistant coach for I am gifted." Harkeerat Singh, student, Rishi Degree College says, "My approach in social gathering and interaction with people has changed. I got rid of stage fear now. I learnt how to develop memory, how to achieve goal and how to focus on my work." Aditya, a chef by profession and a coach at the workshop says he likes to train kids. He said, "Many students especially children in their school level have fear of taking up any sort of work. We have designed exercises for children. One among them is swinging log. This changes their way of thinking." When asked about how different is the programme could train kids compared to education that is imparted in corporate schools, Satish Govindan, MD Sixth Sense Learning Strategies says schools are bothered of subjects and portion. Except theories, evaporation, condensation, formulas etc. no one is concerned about the development of the kid and how good their retention skills are. 'I am Gifted' is initiated with emphasis on personality development of the child.
