New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has begun inviting applications for approximately 26,502 posts of assistant loco pilot and technician. Interested candidates can apply on the Board’s official website by March 5.

Candidates who have completed matriculation/ SSLC with ITI/diploma in engineering and are aged between 18 and 30 years are eligible to apply for the vacancies. Applicants belonging to reserved category get an age relaxation – OBC candidates to get a relaxation of three years while it will be five years for SC/ST candidates.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a computer-based test (CBT) in two stages-aptitude test and document verification. The date, time and venue will be subsequently be intimated to the eligible candidates by the RRBs.

RRBs will publish an updated vacancy table again on their websites indicating the RRB-wise vacancies. Steps to apply: Candidates can apply online through the official website www.indianrailways.gov.in. Select the RRB zone; click on 'Apply for CEN 01/2018'; upload a scanned copy of their signature and photograph after duly filling the form; Candidates will then be required to pay the application fee.
