AP rugby players take off for Chandigarh
State Rugby Association General Secretary, B Ramanjaneyulu said that players of Rugby sport are going to represent Andhra Pradesh at National Level Championship Tournament at Chandigarh. The National Level Championship would be held from June 14 to 16.

On this occasion a felicitation program to the players has been organised at Outdoor stadium on Wednesday. He asked the players to come home with trophy after spreading the name of fame of Andhra Pradesh. He announced the names of the players of men and women team.
The women's team he said are: Jhanavi Harati (Chittoor), Nirmala (Srikakulam), Kasindi (Prakasham), Lakshmi Devi (Anantapur), Keerthi Kusuma (Nellore), Deepika Seva Sree (Guntur) and Devika (Visakhapatnam). Team coach would be Mahinder Reddy.
The men's team members are: Hari Krishna Abdullah (Nellore) Vishnuvardhan (Anantapur), Kiran (Kurnool), Gupapu D (Prakasham), CB Chakravathry (East Godavari), Vankata Rao (Visakhapatnam), M Sudheer (Guntur) and Murali Krishna Ganesh from Chittoor. The team coach would be Mastam Reddy from Nellore, said Ramanjaneyulu.
District School Games Organising Secretary, L Chalapathi Rao and District Olympic Association member, MA Raghu participated in the felicitation programme.
