BSNL Bumper Offer Extended Till October
This BSNL Bumper offer has now been extended until October.
The state-led telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) had a hectic month in revising and introducing new plans. It has been making widespread changes in the prepaid and broadband portfolio. The telco is facing a two side competition one from the private telecom operators which are well-equipped with a 4G network and another one from the impending launch of Reliance Jio GigaFiber. To face the competition, BSNL has revised one of its popular prepaid vouchers and one of its STVs. These plans are the Rs 186 prepaid voucher and the Rs 187 STV. Revised BSNL Rs 186 Prepaid Voucher
Firstly, let us consider the prepaid voucher for Rs 186, the more popular one owing to the benefits it offers. This plan comes with a validity of 28 days, and it offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to everywhere other than Mumbai and Delhi. The program also offers unlimited data with an after-FUP speed of 40 Kbps after 1 GB per day. The plan also brings100 SMS per day, along with other benefits. After the change, the program has become more attractive as BSNL will be offering double data to the subscribers, i.e. 2GB data per day. Not only this, but the calling in this plan will not exclude Mumbai and Delhi circle, but will be valid to these two metros as well.
Revision of BSNL Rs 187 STV
In the same way, there is the STV 187, which resembles the above mentioned prepaid voucher a lot. This STV also comes with a 28 days validity and before the revision, this also used to bundle unlimited local, STD and roaming calls barring Mumbai and Delhi circles. However, revision, this restriction has been lifted from the STV. This plan used to offer 1GB data per day to the customers, and now it will offer 2GB data per day. The subscribers also enjoy 100 SMS per day and free PRBT.
BSNL Extends Bumper Offer till October 1, 2019
These two plans are suitable under the Bumper offer that BSNL has extended for its subscribers. This BSNL Bumper offer gives 2.2GB additional data to the customers in a day on select STVs and prepaid vouchers. This BSNL offer which was supposed to be concluded at the end of June has now been extended till October. The total data benefit in a day for the plans mentioned above would be 4.2GB. The revision on these two plans mentioned above is applicable from July 8, and it is valid in the Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle.
