Reliance Jio introduced a new prepaid plan for its users with a year-long validity. As per the Jio website, this plan will cost Rs 2,121 and will offer 1.5 GB data per day. Additionally, buyers will get an unlimited calling from Jio to Jio and 12,000 minutes calling of Jio to non-Jio numbers. This plan also comprises 100 SMS per day and a complimentary subscription to all Jio apps.

This plan of 336 days validity is available on the official Jio website and can be bought it now.

Telecom Talk initially spotted this plan, Jio removed its old annual prepaid plan "New Year 2020" that was costing at Rs 2,199. The plan offered 12,000 minutes for Jio-to-non Jio calls 1.5 GB data per day and 100 free SMS per day with a 365 days validity.

Other plans with similar data usage are Rs 555 for 84 days with a total of 126GB and a 3000-minute FUP to call non-Jio connections. The other benefits remain unchanged.

Another plan with similar benefits with 2000-minute FUP call to non-Jio numbers is priced at ₹ 399 for 56 days. The cheapest plan costs ₹ 199 that offers 1.5GB per day for 28 days and 1000 minutes by calling non-Jio numbers.

Last week in January, Reliance Jio stood at number one position for the highest 4G data download speeds in India. Whereas, Vodafone managed to grab the first spot for a 4G loading speed. TRAI published the data, Bharti Airtel stayed far behind while Jio scored an average speed almost three times faster.

As per the data published by TRAI, Bharti Airtel network had an average 4G download speed of 7.9 Mbps, Vodafone 7.6 Mbps and Idea 6.5 Mbps. In blunt contrast, Reliance Jio achieved an average download speed of 20.9mbps.
