Xiaomi just launched the highly anticipated Redmi Note 8 Pro. After a long wait, finally, we have an Indian price tag and sale date for the handset. The Redmi Note 8 Pro from Xiaomi is a spec-heavy device, focused on delivering the best possible price-to-performance.

Price and Availability Details

The base variant -- 6GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage -- will be available on Amazon India at Rs 14,999, the 6GB/ 128GB model at Rs 15,999, and the 8GB/128GB configuration at Rs 17,999. The Redmi Note 8 Pro can be bought on Amazon from October 21.

Specifications of Redmi Note 8 Pro

The successor to the Redmi Note 7 Pro brings a MediaTek Helios G90T chipset with liquid cooling technology to guarantee a smooth gaming experience. It also flaunts a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. On the front, the handset is also covered with Gorilla Glass 5 and on the back, it is covered with a plastic frame. It also features a splash-proof and dust-proof design, just like other Redmi phones.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro sports a quad-camera setup on the back. At the helm of the quad-camera setup is a 64-megapixel primary Samsung sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro shots. The Note 8 Pro also receives a 20-megapixel shooter in the waterdrop notch on the front.

The device is powered by a bigger 4,500 mAh battery capacity along with proprietary fast charging support. It runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. The Note 8 Pro has built-in Alexa support and it comes in various colour options like Forest Green, Pearl White and Mineral Grey.
