150 Gitam Mba students receive placement offers
A total of 150 MBA students have received placement offers through campus placement GITAM Institute of Management for the academic year end 2019. The offers were received from different sectors, for different functions and for varied job roles.
A total of 150 MBA students have received placement offers through campus placement GITAM Institute of Management for the academic year end 2019. The offers were received from different sectors, for different functions and for varied job roles.
The existing recruiting partners include Naukri.com, from the financial services, SBI Cards, SBI Life, HDFC Ltd., HDFC AMC, ICICI Bank, ICIC Securities, Prudential ICICI, Bandhan Bank, Invesco, the retail sector includes Amazon, Big Bazaar, the reputed FMCG companies Nestle, ITC, GSK, etc. The first-time companies include Walmart, Flipkart, TVS Motors, Muthoot Fincorp, Future Supply Chain Logistics, Havells India Ltd., Crompton Greaves, Oyo Rooms, Swiggy, etc.
Highest package offered this year is Rs. 9 lacs, and the average package is approximately Rs. 5 lacs. 17 graduating students of MBA (FinTech) from GITAM FinTech Academy also received placement offers during the academic year 2018-19 informed by Academy Coordinator Leben Johnson.
GITAM FinTech Academy is a first of its kind training centre in India that started in 2017 (first time in the country) with the purpose of equipping students with both Finance and Technology skill-sets lived up to its expectations. GITAM FinTech Academy is also partnership with Andhra Pradesh Electronic and Information Technology Agency (APEITA), UBS and Broadridge Financial Solutions.
Around 94% of the eligible MBA FinTech students did obtain job placements into various international organizations, with a median salary above Rs7Lakhs/annum.
