A five-year-old boy died after being hit by a two-wheeler on Monday here at Medchal.
Passersby caught the accused and alerted police who registered a case and launched an investigation. The accused was sent for remand.
The boy was staying with his parents at Jawaharnagar in Medchal. The family moved to Hyderabad from Kurnool in search of livelihood.
On Monday, a woman died after being hit by an unknown vehicle here near Ganesh temple in Sangareddy. In another case, a seven -year-old was dead after a tractor ran over her in Karimnagar.
