ABVP Protest in demand for release of scholarships in warangal
A large number of students led by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest at Mulugu Cross Road here on Tuesday, demanding that the State government immediately release pending fee reimbursement and scholarships.

It's been more than five years since TRS led by K Chandrasekhar Rao came to power, however, the State Government is yet to address the problems faced by the students, Warangal (undivided) district convener Punnam Venu said. He demanded the government to release pending scholarships amounting to Rs 305 crore.
Referring to the hardships faced by the students, Venu demanded the government to increase the scholarship to Rs 2,000 per month. "The TRS which promised one lakh jobs during its election campaign need to fulfil it," Venu demanded.
