Auto driver arrested for killing friend in Hyderabad

A man was arrested by the police for killing his friend who asked him to repay the money under Yacharam police station limits.
The accused Biccha Naik, a native of Kadtal mandal owed Rs 3 lakh from his friend K Ravi (30), an auto-driver. On July 22, Ravi's family members lodged a complaint with the police about his missing.
Later, the police found a charred body at Yacharam and informed the victim's family who confirmed it as Ravi. Suspecting Naik's involvement in the murder, the police confronted the accused who admitted to killing his friend.
The accused said that he killed Ravi who harassed him to repay the loan. "Naik and Ravi who are auto-drivers had gone to an isolated place near ORR where they consumed alcohol. After Ravi fell unconscious, the accused killed Ravi and burnt the body," said the police.
