A rally to promote Ganesh Chaturthi was organised by Sai Spurthi DAV School principal, staff and students on Saturday.
Khammam :A rally to promote Ganesh Chaturthi was organised by Sai Spurthi DAV School principal, staff and students on Saturday.
The rally began from the school campus covering several areas from Gangaram to Sathupally, children displayed several placards and colourful posters to create awareness on clay Ganesha idols and the medicinal values of 21 leaves used at the time of Chaturtdi, and also the students highlighted the hazards caused to the environment because of the chemical used in making and decorating idols.
Finally, principal of the school Ch Kiran Kumar extended his gratitude to the honourary chairman Dr B Pardasaradi Reddy, Chairman D Prabhakar Reddy, LMC member Dr Ch. Vijay kumar and Telangana zone DAV regional officer, Seeta Kiran.
