BJP takes out Gandhi Sankalpa Yatra in Paleru
The Khammam unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has conducted Gandhi Sankalpa Yatra programme in Paleru town in Khammam district on Tuesday.
Khammam: The Khammam unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has conducted Gandhi Sankalpa Yatra programme in Paleru town in Khammam district on Tuesday.
The yatra was launched by the former MLA Dharma Rao and former MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy.
Speaking on the programme, they said the programme was conducted here as part of 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi.
They appealed to the party leaders and supporters to highlight the schemes of the Central government and added that people of the country were attracted the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Party State secretary Sridhar Reddy, district BJP president Uday Pratap, D Vasudeva Rao and others also spoke about the achievements of Narendra Modi government and the importance of the yatra.
A large number of party leaders and supporters participated in the programme.
