Bus mows down woman heading to write exam
A 23-year-old woman was mowed down by a private travel bus at Nalgonda crossroads under Chaderghat police station limits on Saturday.
Hyderabad: A 23-year-old woman was mowed down by a private travel bus at Nalgonda crossroads under Chaderghat police station limits on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as G Kavya. The mishap took place when she was on her way to take a Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exam.
According to police, Kavya, a resident of Saidabad was hit by a private bus after she fell down from two-wheeler when her brother, who was driving, accidently rode over a pothole.
Due to which, Kavya received severe blood injuries and succumbed to death on the spot.
On receipt of the information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Osmania Hospital for autopsy and arrested the bus driver and seized the bus. Police registered a case and took up investigation.
