Car goes up in flames in Adilabad, none hurt
A car caught on fire at Mamada toll gate in Neredugonda mandal of Adilabad district after the vehicle developed a technical snag in the engine.
A car caught on fire at Mamada toll gate in Neredugonda mandal of Adilabad district after the vehicle developed a technical snag in the engine.
The car driver who noticed the smoke emanating from the engine, parked the vehicle road side and got down from it. Four people travelling in the car escaped unhurt in the mishap. Soon after they deboarded the vehicle, the car burst into flames and was completely gutted.
It is learned that the car was newly bought at Rs 1 lakh. The police registered a case and are investigating.
On January 1, 2020 - a fire accident occurred at a petrol pump in Shaikpet after a car caught on fire. The driver of the vehilce stepped out of the car when it was refuelled and the smoke was noticed from below the car. Within minutes, the flames went up and the car gutted.
On lookers informed the fire officials who rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
