Hyderabad: A team from the Health department visited Shine Hospital on Tuesday as part of their probe into the fire accident.

This was the second visit by the team in two days as on Monday the team could not enter inside hospital premises which were kept locked by the police citing law and order issues.

According to sources, the hospital building was found wanting on fire safety norms and even the fire NoC that has to be renewed each year was not done regularly.

While Health department issues the registration once in five years, the fire NoC has to be renewed every year with fire safety measures to be undertaken regularly.

The probe team led by Dr Ravinder Naik (Additional Director) and senior officials, it is learnt, would be submitting their report to the government on Wednesday.

It may be noted that a preliminary report was already submitted by this team on Monday evening.

Ravinder Naik and his team including DMHO Dr K V Swarajya Lakshmi inspected the hospital going around each floor including the burnt NICU.
