Hyderabad: Several Congress seniors may queue up at the All India Congress Committee office in Delhi to seek Pradesh Congress Committee president's post to them in first week of December.

Few leaders have already made their intentions clear in this regard and some are planning to go to Delhi. The AICC leaders may face a tough time in selecting a leader for the PCC president post as the aspirants have a good background.

According to leaders of the party seniors like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, A Revanth Reddy, T Jeevan Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, V Hanumantha Rao, T Jagga Reddy, K Jana Reddy, Damodar Raja Narasimha and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka are aspiring for the PCC president post.

Out of them Jeevan Reddy, Revanth Reddy, Venkat Reddy and Sridhar Babu have emerged as front runners. However, Hanumantha Rao and Jagga Reddy have been making serious efforts to secure the PCC president post.

These leaders have been stating that their objective is to bring the party into the power in the next elections in the State. If given a chance they would put all out efforts to bring back the past glory of the party.

The leaders who are strongly aspiring to become PCC president have been planning to go to Delhi in the first week of December.

They are likely to meet the AICC leaders after the end of the process of formation of government in Maharashtra.

AICC secretary Hanumantha Rao has said that he would go to Delhi and meet party president Sonia Gandhi. He said that he would seek an opportunity as president of the PCC as a BC leader.

MLA Jagga Reddy has also said that he would go to Delhi and would seek PCC president post. He already sent his bio-data to Sonia Gandhi explaining his qualifications.

He met senior leaders who are not seeking PCC president post and sought their support.
