Due to Covid-19 pandemic, suspension of work in High Court and All Subordinate Courts in Telangana State is extended till June 6. A notification has been released on Friday that the High Court directs the district courts to take emergency cases through video conferencing. HC allows filing of petitions directly online for districts other than Hyderabad and Rangareddy.
However, the High Court will continue to take up final hearing, pending admission and other matters as per roster, in addition to fresh matters through video conferencing. Advocates who have no facility of video conferencing in their office, may address the court from the control rooms established in State Judicial Academy in Secunderabad.
