The custody of Marri Srinivas Reddy, the serial killer of Hajipur ended on Monday.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials quizzed him for five 60days at SOT office in Saroor nagar and tried to seek clarifications and reasons behind the serial murders of girls in Hajipur.

Acvording to police sources, since the accused Srinivas Reddy was not cooperating to the investigation officials in seeking the facts due to which the higher officials are planning to take him into custody for some more days.

They are going to produce him before the court today. Since the Hajipur villagers are alleging some persons involvement in serial killings, the SIT officials were doing thorough investigation in the case and trying to collect the evidences on whether anyone helped the main accused or involved in the murders.

They have already inquired the family members, relatives and friends of the accused and got key evidences and information related to the case. Earlier, Police took him into custody for six days on Wednesday from Warangal Central Jail after getting the permission from the court.
