Engineering fees hiked by 15 per cent in Telangana

The Telangana Admission and Fee Regulation Committee (TAFRC) has hiked the engineering fees which was accepted by all the engineering colleges in the state.
The committee hiked the fees by 20 per cent for the colleges having fees above Rs 50,000 and 15 per cent for those below Rs 50,000. A detailed report on the total fee hike will be finalised in a month, said the committee.
The colleges which accepted the interim fee hike were asked to support in the counselling process so that the students can choose the web options.
Students can choose the web options from July 1 to July 4, 2019.
