Explain rules, regulations of liquor tenders in Nizamabad
District Collector M Rammohan Rao said the applicants should be informed earlier about the rules of the tender process for liquor shops in the district.
Nizamabad: District Collector M Rammohan Rao said the applicants should be informed earlier about the rules of the tender process for liquor shops in the district. He paid a surprise visit and checked the tender process that was held at the excise office here on Monday evening. The Collector told the officials concerned to check the tender application and verify the applicants' Aadhaar and PAN cards. He said that those under 21 years of age and those convicted in excise cases are ineligible to file tenders. The officials were told to check the applications thoroughly and the deposit slips.
District Excise Officer Naveen Chandra explained to the Collector that tenders are being received as excise circle in the district. Centres have been set up in Nizamabad, Bodhan, Armoor, Mortad and Bheemgal circles and received tenders, he added. Assistant Commissioner of Excise department Anil Kumar Reddy, Special Officer Nandagopal and others were present.
