A massive broke out at MPDO office in Abdullapurmet under Rachakonda police commissionerate limits on Wednesday morning. Documents that are kept in the office were gutted.
However, no casualties have been reported as there was nobody at the time of the incident. Fire vendors were alerted who rushed to the spot and doused the fire. The officials said that a short-circuit triggered the fire in the office. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
On March 17, 2020 - a fire engulfed in a complex near AG office in Saifabad. The fire broke out from the fifth floor of the multistorey building opposite to the AG office. Locals, who noticed thick flames emanating from the building alerted the fire department.
The police registered a case and said that the accident might have occurred due to a short circuit.
