Hyderabad: Elan and NVision' kicks off at IIT-H
Hyderabad: IIT's 'Elan and NVision' began with a big bang captivating student community & young professionals from across the state on Friday.
As part of Elan Sandhya, the inaugural ceremony was marked with the lighting of lamp by the Director of IIT-Hyderabad, BS Murthy.
The event is slated for 3 days. The event will be graced on Saturday by KT Rama Rao, the Minister for IT. There will be Interesting cultural themes, array of event shows and sharing of ground-breaking tech.
The brain child of the student community of IIT Hyderabad, Elan & NVision has been conceptualised by students. One of the largest festivals in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Elan & NVision has reached national and international prominence, and this year's fest promises to get bigger and better.
A performance was given by the 'Yellow Diary,' a popular band from Mumbai comprising of 5 members - Himanshu Parekh, Ranjan Batra, Vaibhav Pani, Sahil Shah, & Stuart Dacosta.
Hackathon was also presented to the wide audience. Workshops comprised of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Technology. Paper presentations and abstracts and many other were also presented.
