Hyderabad: Madhubabu Chikile said that Need for awareness on consumer rights in Medchal

Medchal: The in-charge of the district Consumer Information Center Madhubabu Chikile said that consumers should be aware of their rights and protect themselves from getting cheated, while celebrating the World Consumer Rights Day on Sunday.

He said, "We celebrate March 15 as World Consumer Rights Day and this year the theme is 'Sustainable Consumer', which means conservation of material, energy and service resources for continuous use, thus reducing environmental pollution and reducing climate change." He said that consumers can get information on their rights from the information centers in every district.
