Peerjadiguda: Labour Minister Malla Reddy and District Collector V Venkateshwarlu took part in the Pattana Pragathi programme held here on Friday. They laid foundation stone for various development works costing Rs 22.5 crore.

The minister explained the aim of Patana Pragathi programme. He said all the streets in the town should be made clean and green. He called upon everyone to keep their surroundings clean. "Wet and dry wastes should be segregated. Burial grounds, dumping yards, parks and other amenities will be provided. Government schools, colleges, Anganwadi centers and health centers would be developed. Officials and people's representatives will be at the service of people," he added.

District Collector called upon everyone to contribute their part for development of their respective streets. Additional Collector John Samson, ZP Chairman Sharat Chandra Reddy, Mayor Venkat Reddy, Muncipal Commissioner Srinivas, MPP Sudharshan Reddy, Medipally Tashsildar Anitha, Sarpanch Venkat Reddy, Councilors, people's representatives and others were present.
