Darussalaam: Bahadurpura MLA Mohammed Moazam Khan distributed Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi cheques among beneficiaries at party headquarters in Darussalaam on Thursday.
According to Jahanuma division Corporator Khaja Mubasheeruddin, a total of 925 cheques were distributed among beneficiaries with total amount for Rs 9.2 crore. "In these 5 years the Bahadurpura constituency has witnessed large number of poor girls getting benefited under this scheme, which is one of the highest distributions in the State.
On the representation of AIMIM Floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi the amount has been increased from Rs 51,000 to Rs 1,00,116," he added. Corporator Doodh Bowli division M A Gaffar and other party workers and Revenue officials were present.
