Karimnagar: Woman elopes with boyfriend after poisoning family members
A woman eloped with her boyfriend after poisoning her husband, two children and father-in-law here at Burugupalli village of Karimnagar district. Though the incident took place on Thursday night but came to light on Saturday morning.
A woman eloped with her boyfriend after poisoning her husband, two children and father-in-law here at Burugupalli village of Karimnagar district. Though the incident took place on Thursday night but came to light on Saturday morning.
The woman, Uma was married to V Anjaiah and had two children Siddharta (11) and Manvitha (4). Her in-laws Rajesham and Laxmi were also living in the same house. It is believed that Uma developed an extra-marital affair with a man and is said to have eloped with him after allegedly offering poison-laced semia to all her family members.
After her family members who fell unconscious except her mother-in-law who died not consumed semia, Uma eloped with her boyfriend. The villagers learned about the incident and shifted the family to Karimnagar district hospital. The condition of Manvitha is said to be critical.
The police registered a case and are investigating.
