KCR did nothing for Karimnagar: TDP
Speaking to the media here on Monday, A Joji Reddy questioned how the TRS leaders could arrange large number of flexis, banners, cut-outs etc for the party meeting held here on Sunday. Lamenting that crores of rupees of public money was spent on this meeting, he doubted whether the model code of conduct is not applicable to the ruling party.
Karimnagar: "Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao called Karimnagar as 'lakshmi gadda' (land of Goddess Lakshmi), who has a sentiment attached to the district right from 2001, but he not even spoke a single word about the development that took place under his rule. He once again trying to betray the people," alleged TDP district president Ambati Joji Reddy.
Reddy suggested KCR to speak about country after completing the pending irrigation projects in the State and added that KCR criticising national parties will not benefit the Telangana people. Reddy questioned KCR whether he has the ability to enter national politics.
Stating that other parties were afraid of joining hands with KCR after observing his dirty politics, the TDP leader sought to know the reason why the TRS chief kept former Minister and his nephew Harish Rao aside, who is a dynamic leader and actively participated in the Telangana movement. "People came to know that you backstab persons, who believe you," he added.
Joji Reddy questioned KCR to reveal what he did for Telangana during his tenure as Central Minister. He enquired whether it is true that PF scam took place during KCR's tenure.
Pointing out that once KCR criticised Congress as continuing dynastic rule, the TDP leader asked the TRS chief how his family members could enjoy posts in the TRS while the several people, who actively participated in separate Telangana movement, were neglected. He stated that KCR made Telangana as number one in debt-ridden States with Rs 2.75 lakh crores debts in just five years of TRS rule.
