Khammam: District Collector RVKarnan has visited the district headquarters hospital here on Thursday. He has inspected medical equipment, infrastructure in all wards and cleanliness on the premises of the hospital.

While inspecting, he also interacted with patients and lab technicians. The Collector instructed doctors to extend best medical services to the patients and set up a separate ward for the patients suffering from seasonal diseases.

Karnan enquired with hospital in-charge superintendent Dr Ramulu Naik about the facilities available for patients and instructed the additional DMHO to fill vacant posts.

He brought to the notice of hospital authorities about the government order asking to extend medical services in the evening also. ZP Executive Officer Priyanka, Deputy DMHO Dr Malathi, District Malaria Officer Dr Saidulu and other doctors and staff were present.
