Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu on Friday reviewed arrangements for the Maha Bathukamma celebrations to be held on Saturday at Prakasham Grounds.
Kothagudem: Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu on Friday reviewed arrangements for the Maha Bathukamma celebrations to be held on Saturday at Prakasham Grounds.
Addressing the media in Kothgudem on Friday, the Joint Collector said over 2,500 women would take part in the Bathukamma celebrations, and appealed to all department heads to come with their staff and take part in the celebrations that would start around 4.30 pm onwards.
The Joint Collector also spoke about the working of Nivedana app and stated that issues cited on the app would be addressed within one week.
He appealed to the people to use the app and get their issues solved.
He also informed that for selling sand online, an online application, Mana Isuka, was launched where sand would be sold to people at reasonable price.
People could buy sand through the app from 6 am to 6 pm. District Revenue Officer Kiran Kumar and District Public Relations Officer Srinivas Rao attended the programme.
