Kothagudem: Grand farewell accorded to Rajat Kumar Saini
The officials of the district Collectorate and various departments gave an emotional farewell to outgoing Collector Rajat Kumar Saini during a programme held in Kothagudem on Tuesday.
Kothagudem: The officials of the district Collectorate and various departments gave an emotional farewell to outgoing Collector Rajat Kumar Saini during a programme held in Kothagudem on Tuesday.
It maty be recalled that Saini has been posted as Director of Land Administration at the Office of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad during the recent shuffling of IAS officers in the State. Local MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao hailed the services of Rajat Kumar Saini and stated that Saini had conducted the general elections and local body elections sans any untoward incidents.
Later, Saini was felicitated by the department officials. Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt, Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu, District Panchayat Officer Ashalatha and other officials were present. Meanwhile, Saini, speaking on the occasion, thanked the officers, public representatives and people of the district for their cooperation. Before the programme, Saini visited Lord Rama temple and offered prayers. He was welcomed by the temple Executive Officer G Narasimhulu and the staff.
