Lok Adalat settles 25,985 cases in Telangana
As many as 25,985 cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat held across Telangana State on Saturday.
Hyderabad: As many as 25,985 cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat held across Telangana State on Saturday.
The cases settled by National Lok Adalat, organised by Telangana State Legal Services Authority, include 14,462 Pre-litigation cases and 11,523 Court pending cases of all categories up to 5 pm on Saturday in all the districts of Telangana State. An amount of Rs.54.60 Crores has been awarded as compensation in the above-settled cases.
Under the guidance and leadership of Justice Raghvendra S.Chauhan, the Chief Justice of High Court for the State of Telangana a Patron-in-Chief, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Justice M.S.Ramachandra Rao, Executive Chairman, Telangana State Legal Services Authority and Justice P.Naveen Rao, Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority has coordinated with all the District Legal Services Authorities in the State and organized the National Lok Adalat today, according to Member Secretary G.V. Subrahmanyam.
