Secunderabad: Major General N Srinivas Rao makes farewell visit to AOC
Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) visited the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) Centre in Secunderabad on Friday on a farewell visit before his retirement on August 31.
Secunderabad: Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) visited the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) Centre in Secunderabad on Friday on a farewell visit before his retirement on August 31. The General Officer was received by Brigadier JJS Bhinder, Commandant, and AOC Centre.
Srinivas Rao laid a wreath at AOC War Memorial and paid homage to the valiant soldiers of the AOC who laid down their lives to uphold the honour and pride of the country. The ceremony was attended by all Officers, JCOs & other ranks of the centre.
The General Officer also felicitated outstanding soldiers of the Centre. Earlier, the General Officer visited Rodrigues recruits mess, Drona sand model room and Atul training block in the Centre.
Further during the day, the GOC, TASA held a 'Special Sainik Sammelan' where he addressed a large number of Officers, JCOs & Other Ranks of the Centre. On the occasion, he conveyed deep appreciation on the high level of proficiency, professionalism, and devotion to duty displayed by all ranks of AOC.
