Huzurnagar: Telangana Rashtra Samithi candidate for Huzurnagar bypoll Shanampudi Saidi Reddy stated that he would develop Huzurnagar constituency in all aspects if he gets elected as MLA of Huzurnagar in the bypoll to be held on October 21.

On Tuesday, along with Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah, Saidi Reddy carried out election campaign in several villages of Garidepally mandal of Huzurnagar constituency.

Addressing the gatherings, he said Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy favoured only Congress workers and benefitted them during the Congress regime, whereas, in TRS government irrespective of politics, caste, gender and religion, people of every section of the society were getting the fruits of welfare schemes being implemented in the State.

He listed out the State government's welfare schemes and urged people of Garidepally mandal to vote for him for the better future of Huzurnagar constituency in the next four years.

Meanwhile, Minister for Tribal Welfare Satyavathi Rathod stated that even though people rejected the Congress party both at the Centre and in the State, Uttam Kumar Reddy, who is hungry for power, has fielded his wife Padmavathi, who was rejected by people of Kodad constituency in Assembly elections held in December 2018.

She advised people of Huzurnagar to think about development of the constituency and support TRS in the bypoll.

Stating that TRS candidate Saidi Reddy was close to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, she informed that Saidi Reddy would bring sufficient funds to Huzurnagar constituency if he was made MLA of Huzurnagar.

She alleged that Uttam Kumar Reddy and his wife Padmavathi had obstructed the distribution of Bathukmma saris by lodging complaint to the Election Commission and added that she would distribute the saris on the eve of Diwali festival in the presence of Saidi Reddy.

She was accompanied by party local leaders and supporters during her election campaign in Chintalapalem and Mellachervu mandals.
