Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in collaboration with IDEA Communication and Majlis Fakhre Bahrain is organizing a two day national seminar dedicated to an unsung hero of Urdu poetry and journalism Pt. Harichand Akhtar.
The inaugural session will be held on 30th October at 2.30 pm at Saiyid Hamid Library Auditorium, MANUU Campus.
According to Mr. Anis Azmi, Chief Consultant, Centre for Urdu Culture Studies, MANUU, Partap Somonshi, Executive Editor, Hindustan will be the Chief Guest of the inaugural session and Dr. Azeez Ahmad, eminent scholar from Gorakhpur will preside over. Prof. Shafey Kidwai, Aligarh Muslim University will deliver keynote address whereas Shakeel Ahmed Sabirhadi, Founder, Majlis Fakhre Bahrain will deliver welcome address.
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan will grace the valedictory session as Chief Guest on 31st October, 2.30 pm.
