Police should be effective,efficient: SP Shashidhar Raju
Nirmal: Police should work efficiently and should be supportive and friendly with the people, who comes to the police station, said Superintendent of Police Shashidhar Raju, while speaking at a one-day training programme with patrol cars and blue colt police teams at district police office in Nirmal on Monday.
The SP said that blue colts and patrol cars teams should always be available to the people and explained about dial 100, crime investigation and other issues. The cops were told to adopt friendly policing. He warned that strict action will be taken on those, who disturb peace and protection.
SP Shashidhar said that he will focus on the immediate response and actions of police officers and assured of taking steps to continue visual policing in the district, to deploy more police to prevent crime at night, to provide quality policing to the people.
The SP asked the people to keep an eye on criminals and anti-social actions in their areas and inform to the police immediately if they found anything suspicious.
Inspector Srinivas, IT cell in-charge Murad Ali, Blue Colts and patrol cars staff were present.
